XAKTsoft's newest product, Portico, is a stand-alone image management software designed to categorize scanned images and standard data files, and has full authentication security elements built-in. With full integration inside our XAKTclaim and XAKTclinical software, users may view, digitally sign, print, e-mail or fax existing images as well as create new images from internally created documents such as progress notes and assessments. An optional recognition module includes barcode, optical character, optical mark and hand printed recognition. This module can “read” standard printed forms such as service tickets or Ohio Scales Outcome Surveys and automatically import the information contained on the forms into data tables inside other software, including XAKTclaim and XAKTclinical, a process which can dramatically reduce your data entry costs. With images immediately accessible to authorized users from every networked computer, staff members no longer need to search for missing files or pay to transport charts between locations – which reduces both agency costs and risks.
